How laundry pickup & delivery pricing works

Almost every service prices by the pound, weighed after washing or at pickup. Nationally you'll see $1.50–$3.00 per pound, with a minimum order of 15–25 lb (roughly one large kitchen bag full). A typical week for two adults is 20–30 lb, so expect $35–$70 per pickup. Comforters, rugs and dry cleaning are priced per item.

Recurring weekly or biweekly plans are often discounted 10–15%, and are the best value if laundry is a constant. Ask about detergent choices (hypoallergenic, fragrance-free), how they handle delicates, and whether they weigh before or after washing.
